The Captain Guide: The Transport Station Guide.

When you arrive, head into the Space Station.

Unfortunately, you will see the ship that you encountered earlier and won’t be able to land safely. Ship will propose a mental transfer in order to get you inside the station.

When you are ready, choose to enter the station by mental transfer.

Just as it was for VL-624, there are 3 different scenarios. The stories aren't too different, but the Ending Cards achieved will differ depending on whether you succeeded or failed in different ways.

The Transport Station

The mental transfer will successfully place you in a droid’s head. To start, talk to the droid on the right.

730px-The_Captain_Epsilon_2.jpg

Run through the conversation options and eventually the droid will turn on the power. Ship will tell you that this extends your reach to other devices. You will also gain access to cameras that will allow you to interact with more technology around the room.

Go into the cameras (with the Cameras button in the lower left corner) With Camera #1, you can control an assembly line of droid parts. You need to use parts that are yellow to put yourself back together; white droid parts cannot be used.

730px-The_Captain_Epsilon_3.jpg

Move to Camera #2 and use the Hammer. A nearby cat will be spooked and jump near the Welder. Close the Camera view and talk to the droid about the cat. The droid will try to remove the cat and move close to the Welder. Head back into the Camera #2 view and use the Welder.

The Captain Epsilon 4.jpg The Captain Epsilon 5.jpg

The droid will try to repair itself but lose its head.

Move back to Camera #1 and keep switching the parts until you get a white droid torso (it will look like a sideways lightbulb). Move that torso onto the A-Slot, and then move the recently displaced yellow torso to the B-Slot to fix yourself up.

Once your body has been assembled, head through the door in the middle to explore the rest of the station.

Head to the elevator on the right to go down a level. You will run into a droid who will question you, but will ultimately let you pass. Head to the elevator on the left and go down after the questioning. Head right and then go through the door.

The Captain Epsilon 7.jpgThe Captain Epsilon 8.jpg

Once you have gone through the door, head right and choose to open the airlock. This will take you inside General Evylton’s ship (the enemy ship). Head right and examine the orange screen on the wall to reach the Control Center.

730px-The_Captain_Epsilon_9.jpg

In the Control Center, choose “Shields” and then “Turn Off Shields” to lower the shields around the station. You will then be able to dock with the station.

When you regain control, exit the cockpit and use the elevator to go down. Inspect the Quarantine Storage Module to take a Fuel Cell (if you have a spare), then inspect the airlock and open it to leave. In the next room, head left and open the door to leave.

730px-The_Captain_Epsilon_10.jpg

When you emerge from the airlock into the Epsilon station, Ship will contact you and mention that you can switch between your human body and the droid at any time. A button will appear at the top of the screen which allows you to switch bodies. Keep in mind that the droid body is still in General Evylton’s ship.

Head right out the door and you will be in the station hub. Head to the left to use the elevator and Ship will inform you that the wormhole generator is two floors below you, but the General and his forces are there.

Go down the elevator and head into the room labeled “Dismantle” to find Jeff’s body. You can take it for yourself, and potentially restore Jeff based on your previous actions.

The Captain Epsilon 11.jpgThe Captain Epsilon 12.jpg

If you have Jeff backed up on a chip, you can choose to release Jeff and his body will automatically be returned to the ship.

Alternatively, you can head to the extractor and extract the Dromium from Jeff but render the droid body completely useless.

Head to the doors on the right and take the right-most door (not the one you came through, the one at the very right). You will meet a team of scientists who have a plan to open a wormhole to a colony to get assistance. They require a Fuel Cell to modify.

The Captain Epsilon 13.jpgThe Captain Epsilon 14.jpg

If you already have one of the spare Fuel Cells with you, you can hand it to the scientist who will modify it and give you the Modified Fuel Cell for the wormhole.

If you don’t have a spare Fuel Cell, you can head to the Assembly room (the same room where you built your droid body, to the left of the Dismantle room) and use the Key Tool that the scientist gave you on the Spare Part Dispenser on the right.

730px-The_Captain_Epsilon_15.jpg

It will be too dark for you to reach in. Head to the Dismantle room and look to the panel on the left that says “Activate Droid Access”. Normally, the Dismantle room is blocking droid access, but interacting with the Droid Access panel will allow droids to enter. The access is temporary, and it will shut off after some time has passed.

730px-The_Captain_Epsilon_16.jpg

Switch to the droid body and have it stand outside the Dismantle room. Switch to your human body and allow droids to enter the room. Quickly switch to your droid body and have the droid enter the room.

With the droid inside the room, head to the left to find the Droid Head Removal Machine. There will be a yellow square that you should position the droid in, then switch to your human body. Have the human body press the yellow button near the machine and you will remove the head from the droid body, giving you the Droid Head.

730px-The_Captain_Epsilon_17.jpg

With the Droid Head, head back to the Assembly room and go back to the Spare Part Dispenser. Use the Droid Head on the gap that was opened by the Key Tool and you will see that the Fuel Cell can be retrieved with a certain code. This code changes with every adventure, and never stays constant.

The Droid Head can be retrieved with a different code (which is also different with every adventure). If you forget the numbers, you can always switch bodies to remind yourself of the numerical inputs.

730px-The_Captain_Epsilon_18.jpg

Use the Spare Part Dispenser Panel and input the corresponding code (as you saw in the machine) to get the Fuel Cell. Then, input the number that was below the droid head to get your Droid Head back. These numbers change each time, so we can't give you the exact codes. Head back to the scientists in the Dismantle room and they will give you the Modified Fuel Cell.

To reattach the Droid Head, simply go back to the Dismantle room and reattach the Droid Head while the body is still connected to the machine. Remember to free the droid from the machine by pressing the yellow button.

With the modified fuel cell, you need some Dromium. If you don’t already have Dromium on you (because you didn’t extract it from Jeff’s body), there is another source of Dromium on the station.

Head outside the Dismantle room and look to the left of the Assembly room to find a white Box. If you interact with it, a third option will appear that allows the human body to hide inside the box.

730px-The_Captain_Epsilon_19.jpg

Have the droid body pick up the box (it is strong enough to do so) and take it to the enemy ship. Drop the box down and have the droid pick one of two handles.

730px-The_Captain_Epsilon_23.jpg

Switch to your human body, exit the box and grab the remaining handle. This will open the safe, revealing a whiteDroid Head but a Dromium Container as well.

730px-The_Captain_Epsilon_24.jpg

With the white Droid Head, you can return to the Assembly Room and put the Droid Head on Assembly Board B (the same one you were on initially) and put the droid together with white droid parts.

730px-The_Captain_Epsilon_27.jpg

Instead of the camera controls, you can use the buttons to the right of the Assembly Board to cycle through and weld the parts together. The completed droid will wait for you near your ship.

730px-The_Captain_Epsilon_28.jpg

To proceed, bring the box to the level with the droids and the General. Don’t bring it to the General though; he won’t let you drop it near him. Instead, drop it near the Boxes near the droids.

730px-The_Captain_Epsilon_20.jpg

Head back to the enemy ship and go to the Control Center. Choose to disconnect the Droids, and the General will be forced to reactivate them by going back to the ship. During that time, you can sneak up (wait for the General to go down the elevator) to the area where the General was and start putting in the components into the machine.

The Captain Epsilon 21.jpgThe Captain Epsilon 22.jpg

Insert Dromium in the slot, insert the modified fuel cell and then lower the cage. Pull the lever on the right and you’re good to go! Ship will tell you that you need to do something else, but telling Ship to do it for you will automatically solve the problem.

Note that putting in a regular fuel cell will result in a different Ending Card.

Eventually the scene will progress and you will meet the incoming forces. You will be suspected of being General Evylton. You can say “Yes” for a quick Game Over, or “No” to proceed.

730px-The_Captain_Epsilon_25.jpg

After the scene is done, you are told that you can use the wormhole generator again, but this requires a spare fuel cell and a container of Dromium. If you have the resources to spare, use the wormhole generator. Otherwise, continue on your journey normally.

730px-The_Captain_Epsilon_26.jpg

If You Didn’t Use A Modified Fuel Cell

If you didn’t get the modified fuel cell or accidentally used a regular fuel cell, a wormhole will open and nothing will happen. The General will strap a bomb to the airlock door of your ship.

Don’t lift the cage protecting you; this will let the General catch you. Instead, switch to your droid body and bring the droid near the General.

Switch back to your human body and talk to the General. Talk about droids working on the bomb to learn about the bomb code. Talk about knowing the bomb code to learn it is on the General’s Hyper Pad. Challenge the General to get some information like the weight of the space station to get the General to look it up on their Hyper Pad.

730px-The_Captain_Epsilon_31.jpg

While the General is looking it up, switch to the droid body and approach the General. Interact with them to learn the code.

730px-The_Captain_Epsilon_32.jpg

With the code, head up to the airlock and interact with the Airlock Bomb. The bomb will end up strapped to the droid.

730px-The_Captain_Epsilon_33.jpg

Move the droid to the General’s ship. Switch back to your human body and tempt the General to blow up the airlock. This is the phrase “You know, it takes a certain kind of man to blow out an airlock. I am not sure you are it!”

730px-The_Captain_Epsilon_34.jpg

Goad the General one more time and you will get another ending.

If You Are Caught

If you were too slow to implement the wormhole, or you were caught by General Epylton in another way, you will be sent to the garbage disposal.

The General will order your droid body to leave. Switch to the droid body and head left to leave.

730px-The_Captain_Epsilon_29.jpg

After the General leaves, you must get your human body out of the disposal. Your droid body will be able to find a reset timer, but you only have 35 seconds every reset. Fortunately, you can press that reset button as many times as you need.

Head to the Big Metal Container and open it. Interact with it 5 times to remove dead cats and it will be empty. Climb into the container and wait until the timer runs out.

730px-The_Captain_Epsilon_30.jpg

You will get 1 of 3 Ending Cards depending on your choices.

730px-The_Captain_Epsilon_35.jpg

If you were able to get the General to leave without reinforcements (ie. not using the modified fuel cell), you will get the “The Hero!” Ending Card.

If you brought in reinforcements from the wormhole, you will get the “Call For Help!” Ending Card. You will also get a Stun Rocket Launcher, 6 Stun Rockets, but lose a fuel cell. If you had enough resources to open a wormhole, that will be noted as well.

If you got caught and managed to get inside the Big Metal Container, you will get the “Caught” Ending Card.

Now it is time to resume the journey. If Umix is in your crew and gave you the location, head to Xerum. If you decided to open up another wormhole and make a jump, you have to deal with a fire before proceeding. If it is none of the above, make your way towards Nugget Node or Celic.
