here is only one landing location: the Small Building.
If you didn't agree to bring Kim back here (ie. you didn't give her a lift from Celic), there's no reason to come to Taleron and you won't be able to do anything.

Follow Kim inside the house through the door.
Inside Kim’s house, you can inspect the different items (even find the Artifact you found if Kim was able to keep it). Interact with the Stereo System on the left wall when you are ready to proceed.
Kim will then ask for wine and glasses. Interact with the Wine Bottles to the right of the Stereo System to get a Bottle of Wine, then interact with the Bar in the middle of the room to get the glasses. Grab the Corkscrew on the right wall and drag it to the Bottle of Wine, then drag the Wine from your inventory onto the Wine Glasses.
Kim will emerge and you can give a toast. You will also get the chance to explore different works of art.
Eventually, you can opt to leave the house early, spend the night at the house or invite Kim to join your crew.
If you invite Kim to join your crew, you will need $300 to pay her to join or she will decline.
If you spend the night at the house, Kim will leave you a note and you can take the Picafetto Head from the table, which you can dismantle for a Star Fragment.
You can get 1 of 3 Ending Cards depending on your choices.
If you leave Taleron as soon as you can (ie. tell Kim you have to leave early), you will get the “Taxi-Cap” Ending Card.
If you spend the night at the house, you will get the “A Ladies’ Man” Ending Card, as well as the Picafetto Head which can be disassembled to a star fragment.
If you manage to recruit Kim to your crew, you will get the “Crew Building” Ending Card. Kim will join your crew and you will lose $300.
At this point, you might be in a good enough position to head straight to Barrier Control and start thinking of ways to get past the barrier. If you don't think you have the resources or are running low on time to save Sarah at Outpost Ortis, going to Lyme might be your best option.
If you need a better engine, Pi might be a better place to start.
