Ori and the blind forest is a game developed by Moon Games for Xbox One and PC. It's a platform game, exploration, quite a lot of action and a graphic section that in particular reminds me a little to the animations of the Ghibli studio. Apart from the action and its visual beauty, Ori has a great story that will surely exceed your expectations.
We'll have three important characters: Ori, Naru (a forest creature) and a giant bird. To put you in context with the game, the story begins with a big storm that makes Ori separate from a big tree that looks like mystic and full of magic. After this separation, Ori is found by a creature called Naru and an interesting link is formed between them.
The tree, after wanting to recover Ori, will begin to make a call and at this point certain things will happen that you will see during the game, these things will change the environment and will affect the bird, a bird that will attack you during all the journey because after all these events, Ori discovers which is his mission and your mission is opposed to it.
The world is quite large, different areas interconnected with each other, full of many secrets, which you will be able to find as you advance and obtain certain skills for Ori. This is an advantage, as it will give you more hours of fun. The next picture is the map in general view, but when you zoom in, you will begin to see the immensity of it.
Ori can learn different skills, some of which are linked to history, meaning that as you progress, you will learn skills to overcome obstacles and also to reach or discover secrets. The other skills, are achieved by collecting orbs that you get by finding secrets on the way or by eliminating enemies. These skills are also very necessary to advance.
Enemies are quite intuitive when you enter their attack range. They'll chase you down until you die or they're eliminated first. In Ori, reflexes are very important to advance so the action is intense and precise at the same time. Open those eyes wide and prepare those fingers, which should activate those reflexes at any time.
One point in Ori's favor is, you can save the game anywhere. I don't know if I'd really leave it as a point of favor, since in Ori you have a death counter and with this you can imagine that you're going to die quite a few times haha. So, remember to save the game at all times and before dangerous situations. Do not be confident if you go well and decide to save later, at any time something happens and it is time to repeat everything and take everything again from the point where you saved.
Ori is a game of about 10 hours to do it 100% or that was my case. If you want to live an adventure full of adrenaline and full of action, spectacular scenery and full of feelings, Ori and the blid forest is for you.
