XMoto is a very simple game that consists of controlling a person in a MotoCross in different levels.

Although I'm not one of those who spend all day playing games, there are times when I dedicate some minutes (and even hours) to certain games that can be installed on GNU/Linux.

One of them is XMoto, a very simple game that consists of controlling a guy -rubber I would say- on a MotoCross in levels ranging from very easy to impossible.

The game has several configuration options and you can publish the records you achieve on the Internet.

The goal is to reach the goal by collecting a series of objects that we find along the way in the shortest time possible.

 X-Motos options and features.

As X-Moto supports a well coded, server based highscore system, you can match with your friends, and fight for the best times on the levels you want.

For doing this, you'll need to open a so called room on the websites "Private rooms" tab.

You will find an explanation there of how to deal with the account settings, and once it's done, you get your private competition among your friendship! It is based on the principle, that once somebody makes a new highscore on a certain level, he can upload it to the server, and every participating room mate gets it downloaded on his computer, to see this highscore as a ghost on this level, that he
must beat now in return.

    1. Thank you for commenting. Indeed the structure of the game is quite simple and it is quite addictive.

The first levels are quite easy, from then on the difficulty increases until it becomes super competitive.
