Mortal Kombat 9 is one of the most epic games I got my hands on. Thanks to NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros Interactive, Mortal Kombat takes the gaming experience of its previous versions to a whole new level. Mortal Kombat 9 takes blood, gore, violence and brutality to the new extent – making players execute the most vicious maneuvers and gruesome fatalities.
Here are 10 most gruesome Mortal Kombat 9 fatalities.
#10: Sektor – Scarecrow
Scarecrow is one of the gruesome fatalities of Mortal Kombat 9. Ripping apart each body part of your opponent in an instant is certainly a badass move to dominate the battlefield. This fatality is an abomination of cruel and creative. To use a device to split each body part – ripping the opponent into pieces; yet, keeping them together. That’s simply brutal.
#9: Raiden – Just a Scratch
Yet another brutal fatality – Raiden’s ‘Just a Scratch’. This is one of the fierce maneuvers executed by the god of thunder. Raiden is one of the fierce and bad ass playable characters in Mortal Kombat 9. And this is Raiden’s way of sending a clear message.
#8: Baraka – Take a Spin
Take a Spin – a deadly combination of sheer strength and agility. Baraka’s Take a Spin represents sort of dark humor. I think everyone would agree that Baraka has an intimidating appearance. The blades pierced underneath his skin are undoubtedly a deadly weapon.
These blades are used to execute this fatality. He does the stabbing first then lifts you up, takes you for a spin and slices you in pieces. And yeah he throws away the remains out of disgust.
#7: Kabal – It Takes Guts
It definitely takes guts to spill someone’s guts on the floor. Kabal is another playable character in Mortal Kombat 9 with some brutal fatalities. In good hands, the character depicts pretty sweet game play.
Kabal is an awesome combination of strength and speed. You can execute some really effective combos with this character – causing severe damage to the opponent. Take a look at this gruesome fatality of Kabal.
#6: Sheeva – Stripped Down
I have always hated this Mumbo Jumbo; kind of hated an undue advantage fabricated with 2 extra hands. Sheeva isn’t quite my favorite characters when it comes to play. However, she makes an excellent opponent in Mortal kombat 9. Not only she depicts an awesome game play but executes some of the most inhuman fatalities in the game. Have a look at this one:
#5: Shang Tsung – Identity Theft
Shang Tsung, an evil sorcerer and Shao Kahn’s right hand is also a brutal fighter in Mortal Kombat 9. In the midst of a fight, when you will think that everything is under control Shang Tsung will strike with a deadly blow. With special moves like shape shifting, teleportation and the power to swallow your soul, Shang Tsung is a fierce fighter in MK9.
You may think of Shang Tsung’s Identity Theft as an ordinary fatality but the concept behind it is much more deep and cruel. Think about the helplessness of a person being possessed by someone else. Imagine the fear of the person, his defenselessness to see his own hand drawn closer to murder him brutally.
#4: Mileena – Be Mine
The sexy and vicious Mileena steals the spot of number 4 with her ‘Be Mine’ fatality. It sounds pretty romantic from its name but trust me it’s the most sadistic thing ever. Have a look:

Quan Chi’s Beat Down is like an amalgamation of fatality and brutality. This non-stop beat down by Quan Chi makes it to number 3 of the most gruesome Mortal Kombat 9 fatalities. Take a look at this wicked masterpiece.
#2: Noob – Make a Wish
Noob Saibot’s Make a Wish ranks number 2nd on top 10 gruesome Mortal Kombat 9 fatalities. This is one of the most brutal things I have ever seen in a videogame. This fatality is simply beyond words, take a look:
#1: Kung Lao – Razor’s Edge
At number 1, we have Kung Lao’s Razor’s Edge, the most gruesome yet coolest fatality in Mortal Kombat 9. After successful execution of this fatality on your opponent, you would go: Oh man it was so freaking awesome! Have a look:
