A greeting to everyone, this time I want to tell you about ABZU a pretty interesting game presented at E3 in 2014 at the SONY conference, when I saw the presentation, I said I have to play it. ABZU is a game that will stimulate all your senses constantly and is that the whole game is an explosion of art, if an explosion and although it does not refer to the plastic arts, colors, soundtrack and other elements transform it into a masterpiece.
ABZU was developed by the studio Giant Squidy and this studio was in turn founded by Matt Nava who was the artistic director in Joruney and Flower, two installments that gave much to talk about. I can dare to say that ABZU is the most beautiful game that you are going to find and with bonito I mean the colors, how the fish are structured, the seabed, the corals, the music that companies you, the surprises that come out while swimming, in short, is a set of elements that make it a masterpiece.
At the beginning of the game you will not know anything about the character you appear out of thin air floating in the sea waiting for you to take control and start to immerse yourself in the depths and measures that you let yourself be carried away by the music and the environment you can discover your goal but you must draw many conclusions for yourself. I can only overtake you that we will see how nature struggles with machines, that concept is part of the game.
You can hold on to certain fish and nothing with them just imagines a whale or dolphins and swim with them. It is not a game that will be full of dialogues, you just have to interpret the elements that you are finding and gradually put together the puzzle. It is not a game of just swimming and going on without observing, give yourself the time to enjoy each scenario since you can find certain details that gave you understanding of the history of the game.
If you have the opportunity to play this masterpiece, don’t overlook it, you’ll really live a real underwater adventure.
