Chapter 4 is the fourth chapter of the 2024 physics-based puzzle video game World of Goo 2. The chapter tagline is "Ye Olde Reckonator" closely similar to the first game, unlike the other chapters, which are associated with seasons, this chapter has been referred as "The Distant Future", in the place of a season. Instead of being represented by gray goo blobs, the levels in this chapter are computer screens. The last level, AKA Sunshine, has multiple screens.
Story
Chapter 4 takes place after Chapter 3, right after the train went super faster in an incredible super-fast speed, malfunctioning time and transporting/time jumping it into 200,000 years into the future, where and when it promptly collapses.
The Distant Future
After traveling, the player encounters the Ye Olde Reckonator, which allows them freely to play 3 of the many World of Goo sequels created over the 200,000 years. These include World of Goo 9: Paper Goolf [A paper-styled game where the player launches Goolf Balls towards the pipe.], World of Goo 11: This Way Up [A vaporwave-styled game with a gravity gimmick which came out when VR video games became popular once again.], and World of Goo 17: The Black Stain [A noir-styled point n' click adventure game.]. As the player progresses through each game, they encounter various signs from the Curator, who describes what the Earth was like during each game's release (with the exception of The Black Stain).
Left
World of Goo 9 - Paper Golf
In Chapter 4, Paper Trail is World of Goo 9: Paper Golf's very second level.
A colourful paper-styled game where the player needs to launch Goo Balls towards the pipe, instead of just building In a goo structure, similar to Lunch Goo from World of Goo, in a golfing style, while the Curator talks about its irony, as paper had become obsolete by that point in time. In the later levels, rainbow golf-goos can be shot in multiple gooballs instead of one.
Rainbow Goolf Goo being launched [Seen in the second trailer of World of Goo 2.].
At the end of the third level, the World of Goo Organization's advertisement breaks apart, leaving a nut, for a squirrel, and disappears. After that, World of Goo Corporation is no more.
Central
World of Goo 11 - This Way Up
Neon Goo getting attached, in the level: Ode to the Gravity Bridge.
A vaporwave-styled game with a gravity control gimmick which came out when VR video games became popular once again [And caused motion sickness despite not being VR itself.]. in order to build, the player has to change the gravity, in Stumbler, the gravity can't be changed at all, but in one of the levels, the player can change it a little-bit.
There is only 1 type of goo that is introduced, Neon Goo, a gooball that acts pretty similar to Common, and Water Goo. In Stumbler, it is a classic retold-version of one of Chapter 1's first levels in World of Goo in 2008, as being told respectively from the spinning drum itself, high torque inductive loads have valid feelings, and experiments.
The game's gameplay is more, and more similar to the other Chapter 4, both have a short after, the beginning of the player find the object's responsibility for rendering the graphics. After pumping many of their own kind into the object, the graphics render improves, creating a more realistic environment [and the Gravity Block.]. The final level of World of Goo 11: This Way Up [Turn 'n' Burn.], the Curator's sign reveals that "It's time. It's time to burn down your house!", is actually a reference to Little Inferno [Which is another game, made by another game-developer, Tomorrow Corporation [Which is also founded by Kyle Gabler.].].
Right
A noir-styled point n' click adventure game, which completely steps aside from the mechanic of building with Goo Balls to reach a pipe.

—The Curator
[Sunshine]

World of Goo 17 - The Blain Stain, is incompleted, but he programed himself into the game, but it isn't his favorite sequel, but it allowed him to live forever, so he rated 4, out of 5 stars.
He released all of the World of Goo sequels to the public to play [But, World of Goo 6, 9, 11, are still in the progress.].
Cliff Spanner tells him that he is playing World of Goo 2 and were suddenly forced to play The Black Stain in Chapter 4, which he says is not right, as World of Goo 2's Chapter 4 is supposed to be an animated spinoff show.

After they asked him, they are transported in front of the Curator's original form's location, which is located in the merged bottom of Chapter 4, a very/super giant cathode-ray tube television/computer, with a censorship bar/SMPTE color bars on his screen, revealing his original appearance [Who is also seen in Chapter 4's southern portion map screen.], multiple scenes are pretty good, but he loved to hang out in some of them. The player thanked him for preserving the World of Goo series active, and playable after all these years. However, he made World of Goo fan-made levels, nobody played them yet, and then he asked the player, if they wanted to play them, after they said "sure", as he is glad, the Curator hopes they liked them, he asked them to walk to the right sideways, they walk this way, but they tripped over a power cable, deleting him and his archive from existence. So the player will have to make sure to plug it back in, after the player plugged it back in, the screen said, "Disk Erased." after a few seconds, A giant light laser beam bursts out from his corpse, from the inside, into outer space into existence from the merged bottom of the Earth's surface [which is before the Distant Observer is blocked by and crashes.], while the Distant Observer arrives back to Earth, he closely passes the laser beam, and his rocket gets out of control falling down to the surface of the Earth, and he crashed on-top of the north-west island [Which it's mountain looks like an octopus's arm.], ending the entire chapter, and leading to Chapter 5.
