Goonies is a fun jump n' run game. The Goonies are a group of local kids - Mikey, Brand, Mouth, Chunk and Data.
One day they find an old treasure map in Mikey's attic. Data figures that this must be the fabulous hidden treasure of the notorious local pirate, One-Eyed Willy. The girls, Andy and Stef, join the other Goonies and the adventure begins. But the secret underground tunnels they are exploring are actually the hideout of the Fratelli Gang, and the Goonies are soon trapped! The Goonies have a powerful ally on their side, however, in the form of the huge and amiable Sloth.
Control.
The player controls Mikey. Mikey defends himself with a kick, bombs (which can harm Mikey if he gets too close), and a slingshot (found in later stages).Stages.
The game roughly follows the film, with stages resembling the restaurant, caverns and a pirate ship. The game also recreates one scene from the film where the Goonies are on a beach watching The Inferno ship sail away.Throughout the journey, Mikey has to find three keys and one Goonie for each level. Mikey can advance to next level after finding the three keys, but in order to really "finish" the game, Mikey must also collect all the Goonies to access the game's final level (The Pirate Ship). Otherwise, the game will re-start from the first level.
Enemies.
An army of rats patrol the stages frequently. There are two kinds of Rats — a red one and a yellow one. The red one needs one hit of kick/slingshot attempt, while the yellow one needs two. Jake Fratelli makes an appearance and attempts to attack Mikey by shooting at him. Jake Fratelli cannot be killed, even by bombs; he can only be stunned. After a while, he will get up and continue chasing the player (if still on screen). However, if he is stunned while jumping over a pit, he will fall into it.Download.
