ZDoom is an enhanced port of the official DOOM source code.

ZDoom is an enhanced port of the official DOOM source code to Win32. As such, it not only works with (and requires) Windows 95/NT 4.0, but it also adds new features not found in the version published by id Software.

ZDoom may be used and distributed free of charge. No profit may be made from the sale of it.

ZDoom was created by Randy Heit using id Software's and various others' sources.

ZDoom is, essentially, an advanced source port for Doom. However, it doesn't just support Doom/Doom II... it also has support for Hexen, Heretic, and Strife.

This new and easy to use tool will allow you to create new maps with great ease You can also add elements of detail to your levels, such as slopes, mirrors, 3-D bridges (sort of), colored lighting, deep-water, translucent glass, print messages, and many others.

ZDoom also has the ability to use free mouse-look. Other various options in the options menu allow for toggling the ability to jump, falling damage, allowing the silent BFG trick, crosshairs, and much more.

ZDoom supports the ability to use any graphics lumps in a wad as a texture or flat. You're also able to make your own custom enemies via DECORATE (without the use of DeHackEd).You are even able to make custom weapons (also without DeHackEd). Furthermore, ZDoom has full DeHackEd support, so you can customize already existing weapons (currently, "new" weapons must be added via KEYCONF).

Why would I want to use ZDoom instead of regular Doom?
Consider all these features that ZDoom has that are not found in the standard Doom originally released by id:
  • It runs well under all modern versions of Windows, from Windows 95 to the new Windows Vista. If you have Linux, it works with that too.
  • Can play all Doom engine games, including Ultimate Doom, Doom 2, Heretic, Hexen, and Strife.
  • Supports all the editing features of Hexen. (ACS, hubs, new map format, etc.)
  • Supports most of the BOOM editing features.
  • Many more all-new editing features such as:
    • Colored sector lighting.
    • Custom monsters, weapons, and items.
    • High resolution textures.
    • Many, many extensions to ACS that were not present in Hexen.
    • More music formats: Ogg Vorbis, MOD, XM, IT, S3M, MIDI, and MP3 as well as old-fashioned MUS all work.
    • More sound formats: FLAC and WAVE can both be used for sound effects.
    • More texture formats: PNG and JPEG are both useable for artwork.
  • The vast majority of Doom limits are gone.
  • An OPL softsynth is provided that can play the standard MUS music for an authentic "oldschool" flavor.
  • Free look (look up/down).
  • High resolutions.
  • Translucency (regular and additive).
  • A console.
  • Full-featured joystick/gamepad support under Windows.
  • Up to 8 player network games using UDP/IP, including team-based gameplay.
  • Support for the Bloodbath announcer from the classic Monolith game Blood.
  • Quake-style key bindings.
  • Jumping.
  • Crosshairs.
  • Walk over/under monsters and other things.

PoopmUp is an open source arcade-style 3D flight simulator.

PoopmUp is an Open Source arcade-style 3D urban flight simulator. It is written in C++ using OpenGL.

We originally used GLUT as an upper layer, but recently moved to Simple DirectMedia Layer as it is easier to install for an end user and it is a more powerful tool to create user interfaces.

Right now the website is in its beta version. Most of its functionalities are still in developement.

As a child, you where tortured in the playground. You where a victim of the highschool hirarchy. You hacked hours on end, and built a machine that transformed you into a bird.

You are now free (as in speech) to fly around the city and poop on passers-by. It's time to get revenge! It's time to Poop'm'Up.

Postal 2, both are intentionally highly controversial due to high levels of violence and stereotyping.

Postal 2 (styled as Postal²) is a first-person shooter video game by Running with Scissors, and it is the sequel to the 1997 game Postal. Both are intentionally highly controversial due to high levels of violence and stereotyping.

Unlike its predecessor, Postal 2 is played completely in first-person based on the Unreal Graphics Engine. Due to its graphic nature the game has been banned in Australia and several other places.

The player takes on the role of 'The Postal Dude' (all evidence given in-game indicates that the character's full legal name actually is "The Postal Dude, Jr.": his father's tombstone reads "T. Dude Sr."; characters constantly call him "Mr. The Dude" and a package for him is addressed to "P. Dude"), a tall thin man with a goatee, sunglasses, a blue alien t-shirt, and a long black leather coat. The Postal Dude also wears a Happy Smiley pin on his right lapel and a cross pin on his left one. 'The Postal Dude' lives in a trailer park with his nagging wife (only identified in the credits as 'Postal Dude's Bitch') in the town of Paradise, Arizona.

The game levels are split into days of the week starting Monday and finishing Friday. At the beginning of each day, Dude is given several tasks to accomplish, such as 'Get milk', 'Confess sins', and other seemingly mundane tasks. The purpose of the game is to finish all of the tasks throughout the week, and the player can accomplish these tasks in any way he wishes, be it as civilly or as chaotically as possible (it is possible, if occasionally difficult, to complete most tasks without engaging in battle, or, at least, killing other people). The daily tasks can be accomplished in any order, and the game includes one task that is only activated on a certain day if Dude performs a certain action.

Dude must put up with being flipped the bird, mugged, attacked by protesters, put upon by an obnoxious convenience store owner/terrorist and his patrons who cut before Dude in the "money-line", plus a marching band, a murderous toy mascot named Krotchy, the police and SWAT team, the ATF and the National Guard, a religious cult, savage butchers, psycho Al-Qaeda terrorists, and Gary Coleman, among many other things.

One of the major concepts of Postal 2 is that it is meant to be a "living world", a simulation of a tongue-in-cheek off-kilter town. Game characters live out their lives completely separate from the actions of Dude; walking around town, buying and selling merchandise, and even engaging in random shootouts with each other and the police.
